Bendigo Industrial Land Development Forums

Amidst steady population growth and increasing industry interest, the Greater City of Bendigo’s current supply of industrial land has been declining and is anticipated to run out over the next decade. Strategic planning will play a critical role in addressing this issue, as efforts are made to maximise existing industrial sites and to secure additional industrial land for immediate and future needs.

Working collaboratively with the Victorian Planning Authority and the City of Greater Bendigo, Capire designed and delivered a series of forums with local business, industry and government sectors to help identify a way forward. The forums brought together stakeholders from across infrastructure sectors, manufacturing and business, property, planning and development industries.

As qualified planners and social policy specialists, Capire skillfully guided and framed forum activities to ensure key recommendations could inform strategic planning policy moving forward. Key discussion points were synthesised into development and planning principles during the forums, ensuring that key groups could agree on high level priorities and strategies.
