Timor Leste Delegation

Capire hosted a delegation from Timor-Leste who were visiting Melbourne as part of the Department of Premier and Cabinet’s Gender Equity in Government Institutions Program. Capire’s role was to build the delegate’s understanding of approaches to stakeholder and community engagement, and its intersection with gender equality.

The delegates participated in workshops to build their understanding of the value of stakeholder and community engagement including key principles and approaches; stakeholder identification and analysis; and engagement tools and techniques.

Each of the workshops were made practical by using relevant case studies, which were informed by the delegate’s own experiences, cultural barriers and engagement challenges.
