Capire’s Mollie Rashleigh and City of Launceston’s Megan Brown teamed up to run through the IAP2 award-winning project Tomorrow Together.
They discussed the benefits of a co-design process, provided tips on delivering systems and tools to underpin a deeper understanding of community needs, and shared what they did to establish a sustainable approach to engagement.
In 2018 the City of Launceston faced a common local government challenge: how do you engage on multiple projects simultaneously with constrained resources? Council teamed up with Capire to develop Tomorrow Together, an innovative engagement program that brought together over 40 significant projects into one streamlined campaign. The engagement approach was one of the first of its kind in Australia.
