The Engagement Compass is Capire’s annual industry survey to understand the state of community engagement practice. It identifies where our industry is performing well, where we need to strengthen, and where we should focus our collective efforts.
In April 2024, community engagement practitioners were invited to participate in the second annual Engagement Compass. The survey was open for over six weeks, with 118 responses received.
Respondents came from a range of sectors and locations, with diverse levels of experience. Notably, half were from the public sector, and over 60% worked in Victoria, Australia. Approximately one-third had at least 15 years of professional experience.
